As part of global Inbound Marketing Week, Katapult recently hosted a free-to-attend event, held at the University of Derby.
We welcomed over 50 members of the local business community to join us over breakfast and learn tips on how to develop a digital strategy for smarter selling.
About the Event:
The event, titled Marketing with a magnet (not with a sledgehammer) discussed how new technology and changes in consumer behaviour have altered the marketing playing field and shifted control from the marketer to the buyer.
At Katapult we were finding that many businesses we spoke to were still using out of date tactics, and with no surprise, are finding it increasingly difficult to reach their buyers.
During the event we covered how marketers can use inbound marketing techniques such as blogging and social media as a magnet to draw consumers towards their website and digital channels, where they can find out more about what's on offer on their own terms.
